Godalming Learning Partnership
Godalming Learning Partnership
School-led PGCE training with the Godalming Learning Partnership and Winchester University offers the perfect combination of classroom experience and academic training.
We are a community of sixteen schools working together to provide a uniquely broad learning experience for the next generation of teachers, equipping them with the tools, resilience and mindset for a long-lasting and successful career.
We know that the best teachers are passionate people, keen to develop every aspect of their pupils – academic, creative, social, moral and cultural. We share a belief in the importance of high achievement, high standards and high enjoyment in learning through a broad and creative curriculum. Our schools represent different settings – infant, junior, primary and secondary; faith and community; forest schools; values schools. Each school plays a key part in the community it serves.
You will learn by working with leading current practitioners, immersing yourself in the life of the school, with opportunities to gain first-hand experience in each of our partner schools, whilst training in at least two. Our immersive and experiential training programme models our teaching methods, giving you a true experience of all that it means to teach and learn in the twenty-first century.
We pride ourselves in our creative approach to the curriculum, believing that children learn best when they are given opportunities to express themselves and learn transferable skills in every area of the curriculum. Most importantly, we believe every child needs to succeed. And so will you - as a new teacher with the Godalming Learning Partnership.
Broadwater School is a partner school for the Godalming Learning Partnership.
