Year 6-7 Transition

Welcome to Broadwater School

Moving to secondary school is an exciting time for many, though we understand that some students, and parents for that matter, may feel a little daunted about their next steps in education. At Broadwater, our mission is to make this transition a smooth, enjoyable and informative one. We focus on ensuring that students can make a positive start to their learning journey and have a successful adjustment to the new surroundings. For parents and children alike, there will be new ways of communicating, new expectations, and many enriching educational and extra-curricular opportunities during the next five years in school and we are on hand to ensure that every young person has the tools they need to be successful, settled and enjoy the exciting time ahead.

Our transition programme aims to give our new Year 7 students and their families the opportunity to find out all about Broadwater School and to begin to feel confident, knowledgeable and excited about joining us in September.
